Does anyone here knows anyone who has prolonged "flushes/red face?"

It could be urtiricia or roscacea (i'm not sure of the spellings) but I have one very close friend who thinks she just lost several years of her life because ever since she got this condition, her self-esteem just went from average to almost non-existent! Her face would redden every time she feels even more self-conscious, embarrassed, nervous, upset, angry, etc. etc. This would last from a few minutes to up to one whole day. WE think it's psychological but I hope I'd meet someone else who had experienced the same condition or at least somebody who knows anyone like that so we could understand it better. P.S. she did went to a dermatologist and a shrink already. I'd appreciate anyone who could give info.. Thanks! :)
