I have actually watched these moveis and thought that they were some of the best horror movies that I have ever saw! I think that my favorite one would have to be the first part to wrong turn because that was a really awesome movie...I think that my favorite part of the movie would have been when they were running from the people and they got up in the tower and they were trying to get help by using the radio and the people knew where they were an the people surrounded the tree...that was my favorite part of the movie!

Ya, i too like the same scene. But i don't think these movies as horror movies. These movie doesn't contain and supernatural things like horror movies have. These movies are inhuman, they are something that we often don't prefer to do in our general life.

These movies are awesome if you like a good scare and don't mind the gore. I thought the first one was a bit better than the second. The first one scared the stuffin' out of me. Made me want to make sure I never strayed off the beaten path so to speak. I know it was just a movie, but I honestly wonder if places like that do exsist, just countless generations of inbreding and isolation. An ex -boyfriend of mine said that up in the mountains close to where he grew up there was a community like that ( not that extreme of course), but a place where cousin married cousin, niece married uncle, that sort of thing. He said they grew everything needed or took it from "the land" and made a trip into town just once every couple of months to buy the stuff they couldn't do themselves like fabric for making thier own clothes, etc. He said that they kept to themselves and wouldn't let anyone near the community, going up there would be a good way to get yourself shot. That doesn't seem possible in this day and age that ppl live like that does it? But I guess it does happen.

I have seen both these movies. I preferred #1 over #2 but thought they were both excellent movies. I often wonder where they come up with the looks for the inbred. I mean I know they are imbred and all but man oh man, they sure are ugly looking things. I dont think that I could pick just one part in the movie that I liked. I found the whole movie to be quite interesting :)
