PC Version! I downloaded some clothes from a website to go onto my sims game. They loaded up as files in my computer and I thought they'd be in the game but they weren't. Know do I take the files and paste them into the sims? What do I do? Thank You.

When you download they are going to be either in a .zip or .rar format which means they are compressed for quicker and easier downloading. You first have to un-compress them. Most newer computers have the ability to handle both formats. My old computer could "unzip" something but I had to download a program to read the rar files. Once they are unzipped or whatever they need to be placed in my documents-ea games-sims 2-downloads Now this is the part that might be messing you up. Many outfits and especially hair have "meshes" that shape the way the things look on the screen. A mesh is like a wire frame underneath what you see. So many items you download need a separate mesh file. They should tell you in the file description if they need a mesh. If they do you have to download that too and put it in the same download file. Once all that is unzipped and in the correct file start the game and it should come up "do you want to enable custom content" which you should check yes, of course. Sometimes the stuff won't show right away. Go to the control panel and find where it is you can turn off the stupid enable content screen at the beginning and turn it off then restart the game and the stuff should be in it.
