i live in Guangzhou and no need to worry about not being able to have Chinese New year with my familis. But for those friends whose hometown in Hu Nan, Hu Bei......, besides taking Plan they only can spend CNY in Guangdong. Guangzhou never snow but always rain. I hate rain, it make GZ so cold and wet. I even don't have mood to go shopping. So no new clothes in this new year. i believe all of us can go thru the horrible winter of 2007!Good Luck for every one. Happy Chinese New Year!

I live in the city of FoShan, next to Guangzhou.NOw it is the New Year EVe, the last day of the 2007 in Chinese lunar. The weather is getting better. The sun has come out with higher temperaure. I am sure the sky will not disturb our celebration of our new year.

I am a Chinese from Malaysia and I do feel sad to learn that many people in your country are unable to celebrate the Chinese new year with their family. Hi dear friend, you and me are very lucky that we could enjoy the reunion dinner with our loved ones during spring festival. I think rain is far much better than the severe snow disaster. Though I have new clothes I still prefer to put on the old ones as they make me feel more relaxed and comfy. So my dear friend, cherish what we have at the present moment. Happy new year and have a nice new year day.
