1. Processor AMD 2.0 Ghz (socket A)
2. Memory 512 DDR RAM
3. Via Chipset
To protect i use with:
1. Antivirus Avast.
2. Windows Firewall.
To maintain fast:
1. Use light, fast, and effective antivirus
ie: Nod32, Avast, or AVG.
2. Cleaning registry
3. Reducing program that running (especially in the
background)
4. Defrag your computer
5. Upgrading your computer can make your comp fast
6. Add Memory RAM can make your comp fast

in india it is a no.1 product in antivirus just search about it and try it once because norton slow down the machine but quickheal dosent try a demo of it frist

I have a cheap Dell B110, but I've upgraded the graphics and sound card. To keep it fast, I run Ubuntu 7.10 which cannot get viruses, and Windows XP with a disk image stored on an external hard drive so I can revert back to it at anytime.

but if you have win xp and installed latest data some important and at that time what will you do

I store all my data on another partition, so only the programs will be affected if I do a restoration.
