John McCain - Truth or Consequences

Does anybody think that John McCain is a true conservative? I do not think so considering he was the author of the McCain/Feingold bill which changed campaign finance to the favor of Democrats. Even though I personally do not care about that, it was a stick in the eye of the Republican Party. And then he went and authored immigration reform which was defeated in the House and Senate only by a determined outcry by the American people.

John McCain is definately not a true conservative. He might be on homeland security, but in most other areas he is too liberal in his views and ideas. I think he has good intentions at heart and want to work with liberals and democrats, and has tried to do just that in the past and got nothing but a kick in the rear for it. If he wins the nomination, it's going to set the conservation front back years.

Yeah, I agree, I think that if he winds up being the nominee I would rather throw my vote away. I just cannot vote for that guy.
