I said I was going to do it, for awhile now. Well here is the first one of my "Best of" discussions. These are discussions I saved for myself, for others and just for memory sake. Plus I can bring these up when people have the same or similar questions/topics. If I repeat I do at least add something to the discussion while posting the link. It also saves the copy and paste which is the alternative.
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1382659.aspx - What can you cook?
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1296496.aspx - Slowcooking winter
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1280393.aspx - German/Oktoberfest
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1349674.aspx - Marinading
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1269707.aspx - Pancakes help
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1293172.aspx - Making chocolate
Like most things I do, these are only samples. There are plenty more out there. And of course I'm willing to help with this interest and others when I can. Feel free to approach me.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Wow, can you ever cook, that is fantastic..
I didn't know that potato pancakes were German, I know my mom made them a lot, but she used leftover mashed potatoes. I started making them again when I started celebrating Hanukkah, except we call them Latkes.
Since you have some knowledge in the cooking department, maybe you can reply to my discussion on lamb vs mutton.. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1377863.aspx

Thanks for the BR and your right, it doesn't matter where it came from as long as it taste good.. My favorite potato pancakes also have onions mixed in giving it just the right amount of crunch and flavor...:)

Thats all very neat! I'm a bit of a fan of the potato pancake, but really it can come from just about anywhere :D I just know it more intimately as a German recipe. When it comes to cooking, where its from isn't that much of an issue. How good it tastes and how fun it is, THAT is the important part.

*slight blush*
Thanks so much Skinny. I might release part 2 for cooking, or figure out another outlet for cooking displays. This may also result in other "Best of" discussions on my part.

I'm just thinking of the next "topic" or batch of discussions and responses to release for the next "Best of".
I may come up with something this weekend, if not soon enough.

Thank you Kyki.
Cooking has got to be a top tier interest in my book, or at least somewhere near there. Good number of times I think about recipes or adjusting them. Its now to the point that they can randomly interrupt my train of thought on occasion. :)
