Jack's threat to Gloria= new storyline

I thought it odd that yesterday when Jack was telling Gloria he'd do "ANYTHING" to get her out of the mansion or not mess up his life, whatever it was, that the camera actually focused and zoomed in on Jack as he was saying that, so specifically. Usually that means a "new storyline is coming". WIth GLoria and KEvin, planning her "fake" death so as to blame Jeffery for it, to (some how) keep him from telling that she was the one that tampered with the lotion that caused the diaster at Jabott...another slow dying, longly drug out storyline that we are all so tired of... Now that Jack said that, and there are witnesses, once Gloria and KEvin do their deed, he comes another twist in the story and they can blame Jack for it. Boring! Been there, done that! But of course they need something to break him and sharon up and Brad will be in the wings waiting.
