Mother tongue is first language of a person who learn it in the start of his life. It is very dear to every person. It is original and real. Other languages are secondary languages. Your first language is Bengali. My first is Hindko. But I think Urdu and English are very important languages. So we should also learn them well.

I use Filipino since that's the usual languange used here in our country. My mother knows her dialects as well but, she uses it with those who also knows that dialect..

I knew two kind of languages only. One, our langugae here in our country and the universal langugae - which is English. Both are being used here as a daily or common languages while conversing. But if I am to be given a chance, I still want to learn other languages.
