Does spirit recognise what happens when they are seen?

see eskarena... i respect all the thoughts and advises given by all the responders... but the fact is that we are all human beings and we got some restrictions and thats the law of nature.If i was you and encountered that situation definitly i would have got amazed. But think for a moment ,you know what is mind...its a magic world. This mind can create visual images and hallucinations about the things that your sensers were sensing. May be i say that this phenomenon was just a creation of your mind( though i am not fully confident to my decision)....any way always think positively (like it was just a hallucination or whatever it was just leave it) unless u got a full proof and clear idea about what has just occured....waiting for your reply if any

hello eskarena1 you have a very special gift to be able to see spirit embrace it-spirit live their lives as normal when they pass over just as we do in our daily lives on the earthly plane-there is no time for spirit like there is for us but at night because of the quietness it is normally easier to see them-sometimes they do want you to see them and will make it known to you-in this case i think they were just oblivious that you were sensitive to see them-it might be a good idea to speak to a medium about this as you do certainly have a special gift blessed be littleowl

In my experience I believe that SOME are aware but others arent...Why only some is beyond me but I would assume its because they are in limbo maybe..I dunno...But yes I personally know from experiences that i've had, that some spirits are aware and can interact with us.... What a great topic Eskarena!! Quick question..did you notice if they looked at you or did you not have a chance to see?

My mother and some others in the family do see and talk to spirits. I'm adopted so maybe that's why I don't have that ability. Mother says she has been talking to her mom (my grandmother). This morning she asked me if I could hear her because she said she wanted to talk to me. I told her "mom, I can't hear her". She told me she told grandma that and she went away. Mom is bipolar and has schizoid affective disorder and I wonder if this opens her up to hearing things that others can't here. There is so much about the spiritual world and the brain too that we don't understand. I have watched her many times carrying on a conversation with them. My cousin has seen deceased relatives and so has his little boy.

I would say that spirits walking as this couple you saw, are more like memory imprints on the atmosphere, and then there are those that are part of you that appear to help you learn something and are specifically there for a purpose related to your own spiritual growth and development. The phantoms that have been reported always seem oblivious to the material place and time, but of course as we can't get into their minds, how can we know. Purposeful visitations though seem very much to get into the mind and can even have an effect on the emotions of the witness. All fascinating stuff and yet it seems that our struggle to learn the significance is necessary to build that "spiritual" muscle, so to speak. :-) Derek

It depends on the type of spirit. The were probably risidual, excuse the spelling and possibly the wrong term. Basically they are on a loop, a memory. They do the same thing over and over on a schedule. Could be every night or just the same time of year. There are spirits that are aware and inter act. They are not always human spirits, but not necissarily bad either. Blessed be to you to.

I don't know. I have never seen spirits. I confess I am fascinated with such things though. We have a show "Ghost Hunters" over here that I watch all the time.

I, like you have seen many from the spirit world I used to think that they were lost and trying to find a way to their resting, place but i believe they are here to tell us something, a couple you say arm in arm? maybe a message in there somewhere, lets see what happens blessed be tc xx

They may have been. I hope so. Your experience in seeing spirits is similar to my aunt's. She's said that she sees my dad's spirit in her house (she and my dad were sister and brother and very close, so I'm not surprised) and I told her that my dad is trying to let her know that he's ok. I would think that my dad's spirit was aware that my aunt saw him.

Hi ESKARENA1! I have always been fascinated and do admire people like you who can see spirits and are not scared. However, my knowledge about them are only limited to movies and books that I have read. In one of those I have read, I remember that it was mentioned there that they can sense us or see us the way a few of us do. However, it is us the living who can not sense them all the time because only a few or those with the gift are attuned to them. Just my thoughts dear. Take care and have a nice day! :)

Eskarena, I think that spirits are so used to not being seen, they are most likely surprised when they realize they have been seen. The fact that you have the ability to see them is so wonderful and I wish I had more of it myself. I'll bet if they realized they were seen, it probably made them jump and that's why they disappeared like they did. Just imagine how you'd feel in their position.

I don't know. I didn't see spirits yet. I wish I could.

I have always been receptive to the idea that spirits are around us, but not to the idea that they can harm us. I have never seen one, but I do remember my first visit to Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire and somehow knowing that I had been there before and correctly identifying some places there before we saw them in the Guide Book. I think that if the spirt is still connected to this world then they probably do see "public" things - I don't think that they hang around trying to catch you up to something that you shouldn't!!

You have a GOD's gift of being capable of seeing spirits. On the other side of the coin, the spirits are very much aware that they are actually being seen. This can be proved because they disappeared from your sight because they actually realised that you are special and could see them. my very best wishes.

I think yes my friend, because i remember in one of my fried house, one day we visit in thier house suddenly thier a baby girl playing on the hair of my hubby, but he never notice except our friend see here, just the spirit look she is upset why my friend look at here when she is playing with my hubby hair.

maybe you got a third eye or something seeing things which others cannot..awareness of spirit being seen?? maybe i guess so...

Sounds really scary... Well, I am not really good with these spirit things but they probably also see us too. I think some of them even want us to see them to send a message or something... anyway, that is just a guess...

Hi Eskarenai, its nice to read your experience, well according to me, i think it is the gift from god, not every one will have this kind of gifts, God has a purpose from you & thats the reason you are able to see the spirits, I have the experience of feeling the presence of the spirit,i can sence the presence of them, its a kind of things which you cannot explain, but is there, i was told by many that when we feel someting like that we need to only pray for the person or pray & leave it behind, untill & unless it is disturbind, & you know it is up to harming someone, keep it in prayers, & go ahead, you have lots of things to do on this earth, Some of them have the blessing of seeing spirits, some of them can hear them, & some can feel their presence, God has a purpose in making you see them, pray & do your works, God Bless you
