Do you double check work documents before sending?

I have been working with some people for a few weeks where everytime they send me something there are various mistakes... even though there were at least 3 people who would have seen the items. It seems to me as if some people write the document, forward it on to others, and those others just trust it is perfect and forward it on to me. Well, I know we all make mistakes. Don't count mylot for me, It's not work so I don't double check here :-D But at work I double and triple check almost every email I send. Sure I will still catch mistakes, but it's rare. Also, if I send those mistakes out to my boss, she sees them almost instantly. So that's 2 sets of eyes reviewing, mistakes are caught. However it seems that some people have 3, 4 or even sometimes 5 sets of eyes who see the thing, but none of them catch the error, they just submit it as "good to go". What's your philosophy on this? Do you spit out your documents as fast as you can? Or do you value being correct and at least read it through to look for mistakes? I find myself rephrasing emails all the time when I reread them!

I always reread and end up editing half a dozen times before I hit the send button. This has saved me from the accidental "reply all" so many of my co-workers are guilty of doing. Nothing irritates me more then when I get an email from someone and I have to write them back to have them translate it into english because of all of thir spelling and grammatical mistakes.

Oh yeah that is annoying when you don't know what they even said! This is more of a instance where I know what they said, but the mistakes are so noticeable that I feel the 3 people that passed through this didn't even read it. I know we all make mistakes, but I always want to look as best as I can by sending out something that I think is at least 99% correct.
