Sometimes we may meet somebody who would try to tell you something that you already knew. Then what would you do if you knew him for not a long time?Would you tell him straightly that you know that?Or would you just not listen to his words and pretend to be listening?Would tell him the truth after his finishing his talk?

Hellow, It's just very strange when someone tells you something you already know about..what he/she is telling might be different in some extent so the best way to do is just to wait, listen and check whether the story you are been told about is/has any relation with the one you think you know....rather than telling him/her straight that you what he/she has to tell you or not listening.....for wise people do listen and then analyse what you've heard......be wise enough.....jd

Hello, This does happen at times. My approach is : 1)If I know the person very well;I tell him or her straight away that I know this . 2)If I know the person well ;but meet him or her sometimes or talk to them only sometimes,I pretend to listen to them . And in between the talk,I exclaim - "Oh,I just remember this or that ! " . This way they do not feel offended. 3) However, sometimes I pretend to not knowing anything and just listen .
