In my life, I have probably tried everything. Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, Metabolife, Atkins, Grapefruit, you name it. I have never been obese though until after I had my son at age 39. Since then, I have not been able to lose weight no way - no how. UNTIL, I found Isagenix. www.lautz_tm.isagenix.com In June, a friend introduced me to this nutritional cleansing system and I can't believe how much my health, and weight, has changed since then. I've lost 4 clothing sizes and haven't been sick a day since. Prior to this, I was LITERALLY sick every other month. I like the system because I can actually see myself using it for the rest of my life - not just to lose weight. It is providing me far better nutrition than I've ever had before. I've always tried to eat healthy but my lifestyle just didn't always support it. I often skipped breakfast and sometimes even lunch. Then I'd stuff myself late in the day - and not always with great food. Contact me if you want more info on it - I am definitely an Isa Believer!

about the only time when i've lost a significant amount (which is only 2 pounds) was when i came down with the stomach flu for 4 days and just couldn't seem to keep down anything i've eaten. my stomach flattened, tho, but i wouldn't advise this to anyone. lol!

Since I've moved to Southern California, I've lost approximately 18 pounds in the last three months. I've completely changed my diet, cut out a lot of the sugars, and remain a little more active. I get to the gym more often, and I actually changed from eating three major meals to eating smaller, intermediate meals throughout the day. The combination of being more active and eating less has worked. It's a little more traditional than some of the newer methods, but it worked for me, and is still working.

I don't try to lose more than 3 pounds a week, because usually, if you lose more than that, it's harder to keep it off, and it's not a permanent weight change. One way I use to help me lose weight without "dieting" is to make sure I get 1500-2000 calories a day. Believe it or not, but the calories HELP you lose weight, but only if you make sure the calories you're eating are healthy. There's a big difference between a thousand calories worth of cookies, cake, and candy, and a thousand calories of carrots, beans, and peas. It's not how many calories you it, it's what kind of calories you're eating. Healthy or not. Make the call and then decide.
