hello, sweetpea! stress or depression is very common now a days with the people.you may be taking medicines but in addition you should take steps to recover from it soon.you select according to your choice some carbo-rich snacks for combating crankiness.eating carbohydrate foods boosts the levels of Feel Good Brain chemicals.another important nutrient you need to fight depression is vitamin B6,found in meat, liver, whole grains, and vegetables.you can also take yoghurt which is high in riboflavin, another mood boosting -B.during the period of depression you must remain with your family and friends with whom you can share your thoughts or feelings.avoid polarising your thoughts.go for a walk for atleast 20 minutes.try coming closure to nature, feel the sand on the beach, the texture of petals...appreciate God's creations.come home, take a deep breath and visualise all that you just saw and felt.finally try to meditate for at least 30 minutes daily.and no more depression you will feel.this is the simplest way of getting out of depression.i was benefited by this greatly. thank you.

I agree with bbsr13 but also its hard to get off the pills they make you feel weird and make you very cranky so I just stay on them and try to eat and excersice as much as possible. I feel I don't need the pills but when I try to slowly get off of them I get depressed and cranky and I don't like that. so i feel for you and your not alone over 40% of americans are on some type of antidepressant for some reason or another.

Pills make me worse so I won't take them. I found learning a martial art really helped with panic attacks and fears as it made me less fearful about going out on my own.
