software crisis

iam schocked to hear that the 500 employees from the reputed software company are eliminated and also 800 from the other most reputed company are removed.in future iam going to become a software engineer and iam in a dilemna to really go to the software industry or no .dear mylot fiends canusuggest me what todo next.

ahm maybe its better if u will be a freelance programmer. its alot better and your earning will be all yours. then if you are earning then start a small programming firm. little by little it will grow.
