Hello all! This is another picture of mine. It's a church on a lake's shore in my city. It's a beautiful church, and seemed more beautiful the night i took the shot, because the lake's surface was frozen. I hope you like this picture. Take care

What a nice picture! I always think it's not easy to take a good picture when the light is dark. But you successfully did it:) If you didn't use Photoshop or other softwares to deal with this picture, then I will be really impressed:)

hey! well, when using a long exposure time (if the camera has any) and a tripod, it's not hard to take night-time photos. About photoshop...i ALWAYS use photoshop on my images, to adjust the levels and give'em an "S" curve. take care

It is a beautiful picture. But there is a minus point- when I look at the photo, my attention immediately goes to the Lights around the church. the lights disturbe the view so i cannot fully enjoy the beauty of the church. the picture is too bright or it irritates your eyes with bright shades of yellow and blue. My be you should turn down the brightness of the photo with photoshop. I have another suggestion- you can perhaps take a photo of a building in moonlight. and that building should not be covered with artificial lights!

thnx for the reply... i will try to do as you suggested, and will post again... actually, i did try to reduce the amount of light...but...didn't turn out too good. and, i couldn't take the picture only with the moonlight, as those lights are always on (in the nightime). + the maximum shutter speed is 4 seconds on my camera, which is too less.

i love the picture of the church. i have a weird desire to photograph pictures of different churches when traveling...every church is different and beatiful in there own ways. do you think im strange?

Beautiful picture! I love photography too and use my digital most of the time now as I can upload them onto my computer and save money, but I do have to say that I really love using my Cannon Rebel SLR.
