What about more coffee shops, and not just Starbucks. With more coffee shops, there could be more places for groups to meet, plan, and discuss. A coffee shop environment is a great place to discuss topics in groups. What better meeting place is there. You can get a cup of coffee, sit down, and converse, and share ideas. Makes me think of the Committees of Correspondence prior to the American Revolution back in the late 1700's. Groups met to plan and discuss issue and strategies. The political and economic environment was burning. These groups got together to talk about liberty. Maybe today, we can form someting similar to the Committes of Correspondence and also talk about liberty among ourselves, and how to secure it, and what the threats to liberty are. Coffee shops can be burning centers of community spirt, and politics. Coffee shops are also good places to form business relationships, give presentations, prospect, and network with other professionals. I met several professionals in coffee shops that are now in my database of useful contacts related to home services.

We have lots of fantastic coffee shops in my hometown of Guelph Ontario. Anytime I want a cup of coffee, I can go and get one. I miss the fact that we don't have a lot of coffee shops where I am currently staying in Arizona. I sure wish there were more. I'm not interested in Starbucks.
