i think Kapli Dev is all time gr8888 followed by Anil Kumble,Srinath,Prasad now Ishant Sharma and Chawla

Agree with you on Kapil but not really on Ajit. Think all the pacers in the team are doing a very good job now. I'd pick one of them. Keep going team India.

The best ever pace bowler of all time in Indian cricket I think is Roger Binny. According to Sunil Gavasker Binny bowled atleast one unplayable delivery every over! What a tribute from one of the world's greatest openers! Yes, Had Binny played more number of test matches and for more number of years, he would have picked up more number of wickets and would have dismissed some great players. Remember that he took 18 record number of wickets in the 1983 world cup.

Surely it is Kapil Dev. India hasn't produced bowler of his class again.

As of now isanth is the best bwler of the indian team but, indian team should preserve him for a long time. if not he will become like sree, munaf or irfan .who have lost ther pace.

I also think its Kapil Dev. Noone has come close to him for his talent and commitment through the years.

no doubt kapil dev was the best seam bowler india has produced.... Javagal srinath will be the next to kapil dev.... Ajit agarker is good bowler too.......he has abt 300 odd wickets in odi's but he still couldnt cement his place in the side.... zaheer khan would come next to the above.....

No doubetly its Kapil Dev ..he has maintained very high level of fitness.Even thogu he did not had very high standard of coaching ..he made it very good. more importanatly his bowling has won many matches for india ...

Common Yaar, How can you even compare Agarkar with Kapil Dev ? Agarkar is not even a half way from Kapil Dev. However If you conside only Pace, Now it's Ishant Sharma. But if you consider the Best Pace bowler in every respect, it's Kapil.

Hello,mageshis! the all time best pace bowler ever produced in India so far is undoubtedly it is Kapil Dev and when comes to think of spinners automatically Anil Kumble tops the list.not only that but also India had an all rounder with Kapil Dev.among the present pace bowlers the choice varies.however,Irfan Pathan wold be the ultimate choice.he is also an all rounder.thank you.

As per me the all time great indian pace bowler was Kapil Dev. But even Srinath's performance was too good. If we see recent bowlers, Zaheer khan and Irfan pathan are doing quite well. Ajit Agarkar no doubt is great but sometimes he goes out of form.

there is no dout that kapil is the best seam bowler for india till now and he was an allrounder too ,later javagal srinath performed very well. I tought irfan pathan would be the next kapil dev bur right now his performance is not reaching the Expectations...... he should come back to his form in both batting and bowling. let us hope he becomes a good alrounder for india?
