Where do you upload your files?

There are many sites that alow us to storage and share our files these days: megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, badongo, divshare, 4shared, savefile, uploadit etc. Which one do you you think is the best and which one do you use? I personally like 4shared the most. Though they have the policy that if you don't login to your account at least once a month they delaete all your files (at least that's how it works fo free users). I never had any problems with downloading from this site. Megaupload doesn't work for me at all unless I use some firefox plugin to cover up the country I'm from. Rapidshare has ridicolous waiting time between one download and another and other sites tend to have very slow download from time to time. And how about your experiences?

I have not come across any need to upload or store a file (files) anywhere, because I take out print copies of those files which are important and the balance if it remains in the computer it is deleted. As far as emails are concerned either of mylot or anyother site, I do not keep the mails in the mail inbox. After giving reply, I keep deleting it, keeping the email service providers free space in tact. Since my computer is put to business use, I make a copy of the clients' documents in pendrive or CDs, thus keeping the computer's memory free most of the time. I do not download any movies or music. So there is no need to upload the data and store it elsewhere for furture use.

Yup, but you can't print music:P And uploadig file is mostly in order to share with others. I agree there's no point in uploading documents you can save on a sheet of paper^_^

I use my email to save files and send them to my other email adds so that they can be stored at the "Sent Items" as well at the "Inbox" of those email adds I sent so I'd have multiple sources of the files I set aside for storage. As long as the files I'm setting aside won't go higher than the minimum. In case it does, I'll just compose another email message and attach the other files that I want to.

At the moment, Mediafire is what i use. However, if a file hasn't been downloaded for 30 days, it's gone. Also, the only waitinmg period is maybe about 10 - 20 ds while the site prelares for files for download. It seems that too many like to use raidshare. As a result, if you're trying to download several files, the waiting times between files can be insane. I need to keep an eye on this discussion, just for in case a good one gets mentioned.

I have account on Mediafire but I had problems with uploading there:/ I know it's probably problem of my internet connection... And I see another comment about rapidshare:P I think RS and MU are simply too popular. Now only premium members can upload from their servers without restrictions:/

Haven't used shared in a long time, but I do like its system. I normally do one time uploads, so I find places like Mediafire to be the best. Right now, Mediafire gives me the best upload and download connection speeds, although I DO suffer from slow upload/download when my connection itself is lagging, and not the site. I hate MegaUpload but Sendspace is the only place for me to download certain files (over 100mb). If its' files for my friends, I'll normally upload to my own server and delete them after they're done being downloaded.

I actually host my own website and link my files throught there. It costs me about 5 dollars a year and by doing it I can see who links my pictures, what happens to the files, how often they've been viewed, from what country, and all kinds of fun things like that. Plus, i never have to worry about them being deleted xD

I use megaupload and rapidshare. It's important for me that I can easily do what I want to do - and that's uploading something. I don't like exploding layouts or a million extra features. I don't need it.

I do not upload that much. I normally use funpic.de. There u get an FTP-Server with 2,5GB Space for free. You need a tool to upload, i use one wich neednt be installed. If i need sth quicker i use rapidshare or bearshare (yeah u can also use this legally). Rapidshare is rubish but for the few seconds i need it its enaugh. Bearshare can bee good if u want to share sth with many friends. U set sth free for uploading and everyone can download it and if the person also sets it free the next one can download faster. I think this was the reason y it was invented =) not for illegal things :-) (of course u are only allowed to share things which copyright is urs....)
