Ashes to Ashes / myLot

Did anyone watch Ashes to Ashes (the LoM spin-off) tonight? What did you all think? I thought it was good. Not a good as Life on Mars, and it had deffinate weak spots (especially in the score and parts of the dialogue) but I really like Alex (a lot more than I thought I would) and I really do think this has the potential to develop into a really good series.

I was disappointed, I knew it would be different esp the relationship the Gene Hunt will have with Alex but just felt it wasn't as funny as Life on Mars. I will keep watching tho as it should get better I hope.
