It is earlier in the opinion that the share autos are useful means of transport but not now. As because the drivers overload the autos and make the passengers uncomfortable. Here in Indian metro cities there are lots of share autos running all over nook and corner of the cities. since the metro bus transport provided by the government is not running as per any time schedule people depend on share autos for traveling. Share autos are good if authorities check this auto and make them to take limited passengers so that the passengers can enjoy their traveling.

It is the most affordable thing when you see the way this buses run.Actually it is better to go in a share rickshaw & a single rick is not affordable daily.Yes they should have a limit in the number of passengers.

Crowded autorickshaws - Should be banned
Even with limited passengers, I'd still think twice about sharing an autorikshaw with a stranger. Though the idea is good and cost effective, you can't really trust anyone these days. But if you are sharing it with people you know, then that should be fine. But I doubt if that's the case..then the autorikshaw will not be overcrowded.

Dear Subathra, I know well the AutoRickshaws in India. This is good for pessangers who are not comfortable to pay on metre rate. Passenger always save ther money, thatswhy Autorishaw Driver also make extra money to collect overload passengers. But I really say this is not good, bcoz are will not want to travele in overload auto's they also forced to travell in that auto's, bcoz ther are not other choice. So, the RTO have to stop this like of overloading passenger. Thnx, Rakesh.....

Hi, In our place in Kochi in Kerala, rarely I see people jammed in Autos. Here these buses are rushy during the peak hours morning and evening. Autos do share in certain routes only. Still they do not take after a certain amount. May be the traffic police is bit strict here in that part. Also the Auto unions and police are also not in better terms in certain areas. They both has to go under a mutual understanding and also the auto drivers here they are mostly conscious as they may be also checked by those auto unions who are more sided to justifiable matters.

It is a good idea to save waste of money, waste of petrol/diesel/gas, but then the autorikshaw driver will not allow many people under normal fare. One has to shell down extra cash. I am even thinking with effective publoic transport and suburban trains, people should avoid using the rickshaws. To that extent, we can save petro/diesel/gas and prevent to that extent air pollution and noise pollution.
