If not how can this 11 month old baby survive a tornado?... A few hours after a tornado struck...rescuers found Kyson lying face down in the mud 150 yard from where his home stood... aside for a few scrapes... he is generally fine... but his mother was found dead in the same place... she must have died protecting him... This strengthened my belief that there is a Guardian Angel protecting every child... as long as the parents help of course... i just love reading news of survival and hope especially ones that involve children... Well, just wanted to share...there is a picture of Kyson in the news item... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/severe_weather;_ylt=As8gYEVWqwpzTUbBPqLRZhKs0NUE

I actually saw this on the news a little while ago. They showed a shot of the baby with someone holding him. Aside from the scratches on his cheeks, he looked okay. Of course, he was fussing it up a bit, but why not after all he'd been through. Being blown away and then lying there all wet and cold - amazing. Too sad thinking of the mother and hearing how she'd been on the phone while sitting in the tub with him - way too sad. Maybe it was mom looking after him the whole time - I don't know but someone was. Whit

Well, that is the frustrating part of it... those on the other side of the line must have felt really really scared... i just wish she did not choose the bath tub as a safe place for them... Dont worry about the mistake... that happens to me once in a while too... thanks for the response...

I saw this happen with my own eyes!!! A car was speeding and didn't the motorcyle coming in from the left. A whole family was on the bike but when the car hit the bike, the kid (i think she was about 4) literally flew out and landed on her feey. Her parents were both bloody and bruised and had to be taken to the hospital. I heard they stayed for a few days to recover.

that's so true... unfortunately, in a third world country like mine, it's the only way to live. ten people can actually fit on 1 bike.

Just amazing how things like this happens. This has happened before, I have seen on the weather channel how a state trooper heard a baby crying in a field and just like Kyson only a few scratches. I finally got to see pictures of little Kyson today, every time they talk about him on the news I miss it. It is nice to hear something good happened out of all of this destruction.

It truely is amazing... Kyson was also featured in my country's news programs... everybody is really amazed at how he survived the tornado... he is a very handsome boy and i am glad that he became a symbol of hope for those who lost their loved ones and properties because of the tornado...thanks for the response...

I think kids and adults have guardian angels. One time at my sister-in-law's house, a glass light cover fell from the over head fan. It smashed into pieces all around the children. The children (I can't remember how old they were, but one was crawling) ran out of the room to get their mom who was in another room. And can you believe that not one of them had a piece of glass in them, didn't step on a single shard. I think I wore my guardian angel out driving around today - lol - there were crazies out there today.

I do believe that also. I also love reading and hearing something good especially when it involves the little ones. Its to bad about mom but God has a reason for everything and we are not to question him. Someday we will know all the answers. Thanks

I actually saw this baby on the nes this morning. Aside from a few scratches on his cheeks, he looked okay. Someone was holding him and he was fussing it up a bit. Poor kid, why wouldn't he feel fussy after all that? He sure did have someone looking out for him. Whit
