The first song...

Hungary

I wonder if anyone can remember the first LP song what he/she heared? When was it? I really cannot remember when, but I know that I heared it in the hostel, during secondary school. My ex-gilfriend just breaked my heart into tiny little dust, few days later I heared the first song: Place for my head. It was strange but on the first album all the songs fitted for the situation, and the new style of the songs just gave the energy to survive... So what you story with the first song from LP what you have heared?

I think the 'virgin' linkin' park song for me would have to be In The End. I'm not a fan of rap, but the harmonious way that they combined rock with elements of rap and just the rhythm and rhyme of the song I just totally loved from the beginning, of course it's almost a trademark of Linkin Park now - their Rhythm/Rap/Rock style, it was definitely a favorite, my other favorites after that were Numb, and My December.

Yeah, the new style what they bring to the world of music is great. The only problem is that they didn't continue that kind of music on the last album... :(

I think "In the end" was the most popular LP songs of all... The video was played hundreds of times, and it was a softer song among the others. Simply great... :)

My fist LP song wat "One Step Closer" and I didn't like that song. Even now I think it was one of the weakest songs on their HHybrid Theory album:P I remember that after british MTV2 started up at my cable tv there was huge boom on Limp Bizkit and my brother said that LP is the ban that LB recommends so I checked the song... and I said it was so so xD But Crawling and Papercut were really great so I decided to listen to thewhole lp and so a new Linkin Park fan was born:P End of the story...

One step closer is a typical LP song, only it's just more powerful, but it's still good I think.

I don't have a story really, but In The End was the first song i heard, many many years ago and i had to get the whole cd. The style really got to me a few years later, and now it has been my favourite band for years.
