It's Not Easy Being Green

red - I love red!

And before someone reports me for abuse this discussion has NOTHING to do with the color of my star. (but thank you by the way) I want to know what color looks best on you and is it your favorite color. Black and white don't count! I hate asking someone what their favorite color is and I get black as a response. Have some creativity will ya?In my case I am lucky because my favorite color is red and I love red. The majority of my closet is red. Every color of red from burgundy to rose you will find in my closet and it all looks stunning on me. But I can't wear pastels of any kind and I hate pink! (sorry chicky) What about you? What is your favorite color and is that the color that looks best on you?

Personally, I like greens and browns. However, I do know that I look best in red. I am a painter and I know color. But, red is such a flashy color that I have to be in just the right mood to wear it. I usually just use it as an accent color, yes with the dreaded black or brown. I am getting a little "long in the tooth" to be flashy. That is for the younger generation. I abhor yellow and orange. Pink stinks and purple well lets just say it reminds me of someone's grandmother's hair. Shalom~Adoniah

I am still laughing. I picture that frosty white blue as being someone's grandmothers hair. ROFL. Red is kind of flashy but I think I like to stand out. I can't wear orange under ANY circumstances.

My favorite color to wear is green, at least that's what I see most of in the closet. And it looks pretty good on me. Actually, I really like red, but alas, it doesn't look the least bit stunning on me. I particularly like red white and blue combinations. Whit

Actually, my hair is medium auburn although it varies from month to month. Red doesn't look completely wrong, but some of your favorites just wouldn't do at all. Now if my hair were carrot red, OMG, what is she thinking!! It's just wrong. You are quite nice actually, to just silently shake your head. Whit

Can I assume you have red hair? If so I can see why red wouldn't be flattering. I work with this woman who has red hair, well actually I consider it more of a carrot orange. She wears red ALL the time! I just shake my head and smile. I stay away from fashion disasters as much as possible because I still have a pair of acid washed jeans :)

I hope this isn't disqualified but I love almost every color that's - colorful! I hate dull and drab unless it's paired with a bright, vivid color to set it off. I'm definitely not a beige person. As for what I thik looks best on me, I think I'd say either a deep forest green or purple. I also love red in any and every shade and i do love pastels, especially in the springtime because they seem to make me feel happy that winter's almost over, if that makes any sense. The next time someone tells you their favorite color is black tell them black is NOT a color because it's actually the absence of any color. Annie

Finally! Someone else who knows black isn't a color. Every time i tell someone that it is the absence of color I get told to tell that to the crayola people who put a black crayon in every box. LOL

First off, I wouldn't have though you were complaining about your rank, anyways I like the color blue a lot. I wear it the most out of any other color, because I thin kand have been told I look great in it.

LOL Cyn- you already know my answer...I wear all sorts of colors, lately I'm into the really deep eggplant purples. My favorite color is of course pink and I guess I look good in it. Other people tell me I look good in the purples and red which I don't wear to often. But maybe they are just happy to see me out of pink...:)

My favorite color is green. I especially love the bright greens like lime or emerald, but unfortunately they don't look good on me. I have to stick with the pale, muted greens like sage and moss. I've been told that I look good in yellows which is why my family always buys me yellow shirts. Its funny because I hate yellow and would never buy anything in that color, but I can't tell them that after they have already given me the gift LOL (although I've hinted at it for years!)

I like bright colours and they look good one me. Earlier, I would choose dull colours because I thought bright colours disn't look good on people with my dusky complexion. Oh well...I was wrong...and then I discovered blue...and then green...and red...and yellow! My husband likes me in green and after he pointed it out, I seem to be picking out a lot more greens unconsciously till I realized I've got too many green clothes...you'd think I was a frog! Bright purple looks good on me too.

I love red also, it's my birthstone (Garnet) so it's always been my favorite. I agree though, the only pink in my closet is stuff my mom bought me. It's funny because the outfit I wear at home is a velour pink matching jacket and soft pants. I wear it b/c it's comfy and I'm at home, but wish she would have bought any other color but pink.

I have a pastel yellow velour set like you described. I look like a friggin banana in it but it is soooo comfy. I find myself wishing the same thing1 WHY YELLOW! lol But pink would have been worse for me. I would have felt like a spool of cotton candy if it were pink.

I like fuschia, and hot pinks and various shades of purple. Do not like soft pastels they make me look too kiddish. I can wear reds as long as they are not orangy or have any yellow with them. I do like ice pink, just like those white walls with just a touch. These all look good on me but I can also wear blues and greens, but I am not that calm of a person so even though they look good on me, they do not suit my personality.

I am not talking about my star either but I love blue, especially royal blue. But when I was little I loved the color red.you would have loved my childhood bedroom. It was all red. Red curtains, carpet and I even had a red chair. And I had a red bedspread. But by the time I reached my teens, I feel in love with blue. And I love all shades but my personal favorite is royal blue.I don't have a whole room of blue but I do have some accents of blue around my room. These days I rarely wear red, I wear blue All the time. I guess I o.d.ed on red when I was young.

Even your childhood room would have been too much red for me. But my bedroom now is royal blue, grey, and amethyest (sp) It is comforting seeing those colors together.

Well even though my favorite color is black LOL I like browns and blues. I have been told that red looks nice on me and also green. I have a lot of black in my wardrobe with a few reds, few greens, lots of brown and several blue jeans :O)

Oh I so love blue eyes. When I was little I always wished I had blue eyes. When I got older I bought a pair of non prescription blue contacts. I looked like someone poured welches grape juice on my corneas. So not my color. LOL I guess I got the deep brown ones for a reason.

I have to say my "favorite" color is electric blue... that super bright, energetic blue that knocks people's socks off. However, I don't currently where that, as I don't want to appear to be "Lula" from one of Janet Evanovich's books (she wore super eye-catching clothes tightly fit on a sausage-type body, and was an ex-redlight girl). I tend to stay with the darker colors: navy, brown, and yes... black. White is also too bright, and until I reach my weight-loss goal, I'll give the illusion of a much smaller body. But hey! Once I reach it... watch out! The electricity will shoot and I'll be back in my blue!

Wow I haven't seen that color on anyone since the mid 90s. Then it was on everything from eye shadow to leg warmers. LOL But I did really like it. It never looked right on me but i was young then and could get away with being a fashion disaster. If I tried to wear it now, my 11 yr old would rip it off of me and burn it.

I'm definitely not a pastel person either, I don't care for them on myself because it makes me look 'washed out.' My favorite color to wear is reds. Reds go with my skin coloring, and being a vibrant person I feel comfortable wearing it. I also wear a lot of navy blue and steel greys, but mostly as skirts and pants when I'm wearing red. Pink?! Yuk, not for me, it doesn't look good on me at all, and if I do get something in the pink tones, it's usually a brighter apricot or dark peach.

I hate black! I hate wearing all black. I avoid it at all costs. I love pastels, especially blue. My husband, for some reason, told me recently he didn't think I looked good in purple. I have worn a lot of purple in my life and thought I looked good in it. I still do. But he's a man, what does he know? LOL! Yes, I love a nice robin's egg blue, sky blue, powder blue shade the best.

I wear a ton of red, and black, but you said that's not a valid answer, so red it is. I guess because it's easy to match up things that are red and black, it's not really all that season specific. I'm so white that I usually stick with darker colors because light things just kind of melt into my skin and none of my features stand out very well. I hate pink too, it just, isn't my thing. I was supposed to say pink was my favorite color when I was little, cause I was told that it was my favorite color, but I never cared much about it, just gave the answer that was expected of me. I don't think I have a real favorite color, I just gravitate toward certain ones in clothing.
