How do you feel about everyone going to Visa debit cards as payment?

I recently recieved notice that the State of Arkansas is offering Child Support payments to be credited on a visa debit card. Of course since I live in Florida now I jumped on it because it would make it faster and easier for me to recieve my payments. However it seems that everyone is turning to visa debit as a way to collect everything from wages to child supprt. I am not sure how I feel about this trend....What do you think?
