OK im tired of hearing i dont want another republican in office OR i dont want another Texan in office. Well my standing on that is its the personality of the person not where there from or what side they are on. I looked at all the canidites and for the most part im not too happy with our choices and we need to make sure its the right choice out of the buttholes we have to chose from My personal oppinion is Ron Paul which it doesnt look to good on him at this point in time but we still have a small chance. other than that the only one i barley even like if Huckabee. I dont like Mccain for two reasons he said that this is goign to be a 100 years war (which we need to get out of) and he also is agains Medical Marijuana (So is huckabee) which has helped so many sick people. and has less side effects than advil.

Calm down there, hope is out there, his name is Wayne Allen Root. He will probable win the American Libertain party nomanation. His platform is very similar to the Mirco- Government Conservative that make up about 40% of the Republican party. Here is my plan Hillary/Obama vs. McCain vs. Root, and Bloomberg to this picture and a candidate like Root. I understand where you are coming from and I think it might work out, but it might not. Just remember that not one President has destoried this country. America is a very tough country. At one time their where Americans that paid 70% of their income to the Government, I should now my Grandfather start a heating and air business back in the 50's, by the 70's he was paying 67% of his income to the government, but he survived. It is not easy, I wish I could just wave a magical wand and the IRS would be gone.

I'm right there with you Skinny on Obama. My Obama blogs have had thousands of hits these last few months so we're definitely not the only ones. They are growing in traffic every day as more and more people meet Barack Obama for the first time.

If you don't want another Bush why would you even consider voting Republican. I'm with you on Ron Paul but he has no shot- unfortunately. I hate Hill- menopause and the red phone- enough said. So that leaves Obama..taxes were mentioned. Republicans don't raise taxes? hmmm? I beg to differ. Any politician out there will probably raise taxes that's how the government makes the money to give away to other countries. Maybe I'm the only one out there but I choose to believe in hope and Obama seems to be the only one giving any hope. He has also been a state rep in my state and has implemented every change that was promised to the city of chicago. But then again every presidential candidate always promises and never delivers does it matter anyway?

There is no way anybody can catch McCain now barring a miracle. Maybe Hucklebee is praying McCain's plane will be swallowed by a whale so maybe that's why he's hanging in there. I still understand why people who are for Ron Paul and are against the war in Iraq aren't interested in Obama. He is clearly the only viable candidate who was and is anti-war. Hillary says she is but everytime the wind changes she changes her mind. Once elected if she is shown the right poll she might do another 180. But with moveon dot org's endorsement of Obama last week I was shocked more Paul supporters didn't see the bigger picture. If they had voted Obama in the open primaries on Super Tuesday Hillary would be sitting at home licking her wounds instead of looking ata virtual tie. All this prolonged battle does is strengthen McCina's run. We could very well be in Reagan-land (McCain will rename Iraq I'm sure if he plans to be there so long) for the next 100 years. Perhaps a McCain grandchild can withdraw the troops after he is elected President in 2113 and claim a proud victory.

right and why do so many support the worse canidates. Now i would rather have obama than clinton, But I dont like demecrates and would rather a republican in there than a demecrate. Obama was talking about to many tax increases he never said that out right but he wants to improve on this and that and healthcare, and this and that all of these improvements are going to be more money out of your pockets when it should be little or no taxes so you can afford healthcare without insiance and school without grants.

Basically the Dem's (I'm actually Independent I hate the 2 party system) will raise taxes, but the key is who they are raising them on. Right now the rich have been getting away with cheaper taxes than many of their workers. The Dem's are going to tax the rich pretty heavily to pay for their health care programs. They are also going to tax big business and corporations more, which I love I think corporate America is destroying this country. It is muddled a little with Hillary though, she takes PAC money. Normally the Rep's do that but this election she has taken more PAC money than any of the Republican's so it could be a strange Presidency if she gets the nod. But for me I want to get out of Iraq before our economy tumbles down like a stack of bricks. Then Al Qaeda will really be celebrating as perhaps China and Russia would take over as the next superpowers and we might become more of a "has been" country. (France?)

I'm not overly concerned about political parties anymore. I just want a solid, dependable president. I'm a republican, and will typically vote that way, but I'm open to voting for a democrat if there is a good candidate. I had considered voting for Obama, but after he and Hillary signed on to disenfranchise voters by boycotting Michigan and Florida, I decided there's no way I'm voting for a democrat in this election.

Im tired of labels too! I hate it when people make desicions off someones natural being, it is so sad. But no matter how much you tell them they will continue to label others.

I don't want to offend you but I am going to use you to answer your own question. There will always be labels as long as people continue to group people as alike. You represent most people in your actions. You don't like labels and claim to choose individuals but when the chance comes up you revert to a label. You stated in a response yourself that you didn't like Democrats. You used the label! It what we have been trained to do in this country. Everyone is biased to some group in some way.

I know what you mean and i didnt even relize that I did it. It would be a lot better if we just had presidental canidates and not demecrates, republicans, libertarians, idependents and so on and so forth. but it being so ingrained in our system that it would be hard to move to that. thanks for your responce
