I would like to get a job working from home as a medical transcriptionist or coding and billing. I haven't done the schooling yet. I'm afraid to pay for the schooling and then not be able to find a job. Does anyone do this? I've tried looking on yahoo jobs for it, but you never know whats a scam and whats for real. Help!

Medical transcription is a good and challanging career. If you have flare to learn medical terms, you would become a successful MT in matter of months. I can send you some sample voice files of the doctors and some learning materials to you. If you are still interested in MT, message me.

My cousin has done transcription for several years now and she loves it. She works from home and makes pretty good money. She took the training through the company she works for. I think they are also hiring people who have college degrees. If you want to know the company, just send me a message and I'll give you the info.

I wouldn't know which school to lead you to, but I have an article that helps you determine real work at home opportunities from scams. You can go to: http://www.helium.com/knowledge/80545-critical-thinking-avoid-scams And read the article there. I know its a separate subject, but a lot of the researching techniques can apply to your search for a legitimate school.
