disney world vacation

Ok I am planning a trip to disney world in December and I have 2 very young girls I need all the tips you have whats the best things to do. I want to do Mickey's very merry christmas party and I want to do one of the dinners with the characters. My oldest will be 3 and my youngest will be 1. What rides to ride? Where did you stay? Is there anything that I should know?
