It is not fair to work too long but sometimes we have no choice. Certain things need to be completed in time. Such time bound work have to be finished in given time period . But if there is no time frame for any job we need not work longer than our capacity. If we are tired our productivity reduces. We must take a brake after some hours. This does not mean that we should not work during these brakes. During these brakes we can do different type of activity where different muscles of our body are involved. A person doing desk work can go for a short walk during this brake. This was just an example. When you resume duty you should relatively feel fresh. But again let me remind you that priority about the time frame should be kept in mind.

Yes, friend you are very correct. We should be only a loyal worker. Now a days most of the organisations are very selfish. They will not hesitate to throw you out even with a least provocation. You can see many people geting promoted and availing of all the benefits without doing any work just by buttering. Of course we need not follow their foot steps. We should be always loyal towards to our work and not over loyal. It is always better to be smart and not over smart. Things were different about a decade ago and now they are totally different.

quality work matters and not quantity work. we should work with strategy in mind. that way the performance will be better and there will be time for other things.

It must be affecting your personal life. A balance between personal and professional life is needed.
