I heard that Daniel Goleman in a book titled Emotional Intelligence shows that alongside the intellectual faculties of a rational man has another important resource that the author called Emotional Intelligence.
You have heard about this topic? You know something more about me to Emotional Intelligence?

I have the book and it's a good read. I bought it years back.
He also wrote 'Working with Emotional Intelligence'.
All along people thought that IQ is what made people successful...people with higher IQs do better in life.
But this book says how Emotional Intelligence is also important. How people control or show emotions is an important aspect in how successful they are.
In fact Daniel Goleman says EQ is more important that IQ (unlike what people earlier thought)

Wow, after interacting with college professors for so many years, I should have written that book! Some of those guys are like children. I've seen brilliant mathematics professors who can't boil and egg or balance a checkbook, not to mention the shambles they make of their family life. It is important to have a well-rounded education and not just know one or two things.
