Selfishness Has No Place Here

I know a lot of people got that so I won't elaborate on it. But it's true. In situations where you see things wrongly done to people, and I mean anyone, not just friends of yours, do you do something about it? Do you get involved? Do you try to come up with ways to right the wrongs? Or do you just sit back and twiddle your thumbs saying it isn't your problem?
I for one get involved. There is nothing in this world I hate more than stupidity. Stupid people. Stupid reasons for doing stupid things. All of it just boils my blood.
So when I see something being done to someone without just cause or as a direct result because of someone else's stupidity I do something about it.
And I am glad to see there are a lot more people like me here on this site then I once thought there were. Keep up the good work everyone. We will right this wrong eventually.

It's ok Nova. I know your heart is so big it takes up most of your mental capacity to keep it working, I still love you. lol The fact you have 3 or 4 too many had absolutely nothing to do with this. :)

This has happened to someone else right before Christmas in that a myLot perpetrator starts perpetrating on someone, & instead of the perpetrator getting suspended/banned, it is the victim.
Anyway, I see you saw my discussion, & thanks.
Hmmmm - I recall a prophet, long before Islam, & yeah - even before Christianity. He always preached by telling a story like I did in that discussion.

You really did impress me with your post and that takes a lot. I haven't been here all that long but I see people getting targeted all the time and as you said, the victim is the one who gets punished while the perp is left to run free spreading their filth to other posts without having any consequence for their actions.
I hate what happened to her, moreso because of who was responsible for it. I just hope that everyone can see what happens as a result of this petty childish selfishness and thinks twice before they engage other users here in that kind of manner.

lol...I'm not sure if I come in that group of people you mentioned.
Though I don't sit back and twiddle my thumbs...I sometimes lean a bit this way and sometimes a little that way. It depends....because on certain days I'm able to tolerate a little goofy stupidity and on other days I'm not....like my husband says it probably has something to do with the monthy thing!
But if there's going to be a revolution, count me in!

I hope that all the efforts people are putting forth are not going to go in vain. I think what happened is seriously messed up on so many differnt levels. In a just world this wrong will be fixed soon. If they don't then it just goes to show how really messed up this place is.

I think we are just taking the first step. I would love to see changes made immediately but I think it is going to take constant diligence on our parts to really get through to the people in charge if we want to show them where they make so many mistakes by doing this kind of thing and other things to perfectly good users. This place is messed up, I wouldn't be here if it weren't but there is a difference in being messed up and being compared to nazi germany. Speak out and BAM there goes your tongue. Luckily for me my 10 fingers do better talking than my mouth ever could.

She thinks that Almost Famous is the greatest movie of all time...
Enough said!

Yes it was enough said. Would it be wrong to "accidentally" trip on your way out of class and smack her upside the back of her head with your text book?

I have a hard time believing you have a bigger shoe size than you do an IQ. But it is easy to get confused on here. Keep agreeing with me sweetie, you will live longer :)
