This summer or early spring I will be flying down to Arizona to see my daughter and her family. I have been there several times before and had a very delightful time visiting all the area's around where she lives..Tombstone...and Tucson...area's around there. We did take a trip to Flagstaff and Sedona etc. It was so much fun! Do you have a trip planned for your summer vacation? Where will your trip take you?

I am taking my baby son to Latvia. I plan for us to stay in the capital city of Riga for a few days, doing day trips to the coast and an area known as the Switzerland of Latvia. It has some pretty castles, lovely countryside and some scenic rivers. Next i would like us to take a train to St Petersburg, however this depends on whether we manage to get Russian visas or not. If not I think it would be lovely to catch a bus to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and spend a few days there. If we don't go to Russia there would be enough time for us to do spend on one of the quiet and picturesque islands. We are going in the summer when I hope the weather will be sunny and not too rainy. I hope that you enjoy your trip to see your daughter and family in Arizona.

Sedona is so pretty. Hope you have a great vacation.
We also have a daughter living in Arizona and I plan to visit her this Spring. She has our only two grandchildren and I miss them something terrible. They are 3 and 5 months. Our daughter lives about 100 miles north of Phoenix so we fly into Phoenix and either get a rental car or shuttle. It's a great trip. Not sure if my husband will go with me since he's a softball coach and travels with the team from April to about September on the weekends and a couple of nights during the week and works full time also. I am so anxious to see our daughter and the kiddies.

Wow....mine live south east of Tucson! And I have to grandkids down there....and can't wait to see them either. The first time I went to Arizona I didn't like it. But with each trip I have learned to like it more. Hope you have a wonderful trip too!

Me and my friends are planning for an out-of-town excursion, we plan to enjoy it on one of my friend's sister who happens to live near a beach and enjoy the peaceful side of the country.
I'm the one who's in-charge of the planning, as I already have lots of ideas that we could do there. they say that the means of living there is simple and complex, so we don't have to worry much in bringing money. We could get free food, from rice to fresh fish there. I'm so excited, as I can't wait to go there because I still have plans on what to do when we arrive there!;)

hi jill! ^__^
i have been planning since December last year to go on a trip this summer. i have been saving money for it too. originally, i was thinking of going to Hongkong. but when i opened up my plan to a lot of my officemates, so many suggestions poured on me including Thailand, Korea and Singapore. and then, i saw in the newspapers that there are promotional fares to a lot of Asian countries and that made me so undecided even more. ^__^;; until now i haven't decided yet where to go. LOL but Hongkong isn't my number one choice anymore, its on number 2. Singapore is on top of my list now. ^__^
anyway, summer is just around the corner so i bet you are so excited to fly to your daughter. i might as well decide soon. good luck to your trip and take lots of care! ^__^
