If she really loves you she will understand why you have to go to shanghai, it's for your future.you don't know she might be your wife when time comes. anyway you're still in one country just in another city, you can visit her anytime.

If you think that there is more certain oppurtunity out there than your home town, then go forth and take your chances. Its not only you whose going to benefit from a venture that your going to take.

don't worry im in the same situation. i got a great opputinity to further my education and get a good job, but i'll have to more to hollywood. which is over 7 hours away for my family. im going to miss them terrably but i know i have to move to better myself. if you move to shanghai to get a better life then i think you should move. it would be better for you, but this is your decision. if you ever need to talk im here, since were in the same situation and all. =]
