We use to think that fruits and yogurt are good to our health, but according to what I have read acidic foods just like fruit juices, wine, pickled products and fizzy product will cause to erode your enamels. So we not intake to much fruits.
It states their that though saliva can help restore pH balance after acidic food, your teeth still may suffer if you eat too much that is why it is advice that we should rinse our mouth with water for 30 seconds after eating these foods and chew sugar-free gum to stimulate saliva flow.

Too much of anything is bad for you, so of course too much fruit is not going to do you any good.
i don't know much on the subject, but I would think fruit is going to cause less erosion than fizzy drinks or pickled foods. The only thing that will protect teeth is brushing well at least twice a day and getting plenty of calcium.

That would be a good habit.
All sort of foods can cause damaged to our teeth if we don't clean our teeth every after eating.
