Any used to be Catholics out there?

I was raised Catholic in a very progressive church. We sure weren't raised in the traditional way. We didn't have saints in our church, or say the rosary there either. If we wanted to find out about saints we could do it on our own time, but the church was to worship Jesus Christ. When I grew up and left my parents home I looked for a church that was as progressive as the one I grew up in and never felt happy anywhere. I ended up exploring different religions and found myself most comfortable in the protestant faith. Anybody else leave the Catholic church and how come?

I was given a catholic religion. When I am about 14, i read the Bible and compare the teachings in actual life. The catholic church doesn't teach based on God's Word. I am thankful to God because He found me and saved me 8 years ago. He led me to a Soul-winning, independent, fundamental Baptist Church. I am happy to be a Christian indeed!
