Well 2 weeks ago I gave up tobacco.
2 days ago my boyfriend of 2+ years and I split up because we're going different directions in life.
I had hoped we could reconcile because it all seems like it's too much for me to deal with, but he's pretty set in his ways and it's not as if I can ask him to stick around and support me until I reach a point in my non-smoking status where I feel it's for good.
Any advice? Doesn't that seem like too many things to give up to you?

Make a clean sweep - do both. One way of helping is to clean your home. Clean him out too cause his energy will be around to remind you which could drag you down emotionally. So pretend it is like spring cleaning and it will make it easier to give up both. A new start - new beginnings. Go for it.

                    Hello Breepeace,
I dont think so, there was a time that I quit my job, moved out of the house I was living in and dropped my long time girlfriend all in the same week.
Maybe you split from your boyfriend because the frustration of quitting smoking was getting to you. Thats okay because if its not going to last its better to get it over with.
To me it seems better to be going through all of these things at once because one thing kind of takes some of the weight of the others. I wish you the best of luck while going through all of this.
Take care, Terry
