There are many things that could be causing the problem. 1 - Firstly, your photo files could be automatically tagged by Kodak Easyshare as "read only" files thus won't copy to where you want it to be copied. 2- Your Picassa or even your Kodak Easyshare might not have been configured to transfer the files, but just to view it. Read the documentation on the two software photo programs. 3- Replace your USB reader or even USB slot. It could have been damaged. 4- Your computer memory might not be able to handle larger files for caching. If your files on your camera are larger than your computer video memory, the it will take longer to preview, which your computer will automatically do once you load up the photos, and if your computer video memory cannot handle it, it will crash, or at the least take hours to view because it will page file to the hard disk. 5- Most likely problem: The USB software in your computer (Windows) might not be updated to transfer USB 2.0 compatible files. Check if you have USB 2.0. Or your card reader is not compatible or could not read USB 2.0 compatible files. Best solution? Use the latest USB 2.0 socket or card reader. Okay now you lost me when it comes to the USB reader what exactly is that , and how do I find it ??? Is it something inside the computer or is it in the card itsself ??? Thanks . I will also check the guidelines for these programs but they have always worked before so I can`t see that being the problem , but then again there are alot of copies that are doubles and triples , every time I try to download the pictures it constantly downloads the same ones over and over . I think that has alot to do with it , the card is never full when I`m asked to do this so it just keeps downloading them to the same file then they never would let delete them off the camera So I just won`t let them use this computer for pictures until they know what their doing , or me for that matter. Thankx alot for your help .
