Making our own mixes have been a part of our home for years. We learned that this could and did save money, time and stress. These biscuits are wonderful and I added some variations with them so they should please even the pickest eater. Enjoy
You will find the recipe for the All Purpose Convience Mix is here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1401738.aspx
Biscuits
3 cups All Purpose Convenience Mix
3/4 cup water
Add water to the Convenience Mix all at
once. Blend lightly with a fork to form a
soft dough and turn onto a floured board.
Knead the dough slightly and then roll
or pat the dough to not less than 1/2-
inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter
and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at
450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 9 biscuits.

When I was in middle school, I took cooking classes and I have a recipe book of all the foods I made and I have one for biscuits. I will make this one to try something different. Thanks for sharing your recipe. If you want mine please let me know.

I love a good meal of biscuits and gravy. We eat them quite a bit. They are cheap and filling and everyone in the family loves them so I serve them as often as I can get away with. I am going to try a lot of your mixes and see if we can cut the bills a little more. Thanks.
