What do you make of it? I haven't read Stanislaw Lem's novel, but I hear it's a bit different than what we see in the movie. Anyway, I think it was a good movie, similar somewhat to "The Fountain"I also discovered due to this movie Thomas Dylan's great poetry "And Death Shall Have no Dominion"

I really liked the movie and I didn't realise how much it had missed out of the story til I read the book. The Russian version, which was made in 1972 follows the book much closer but it is about 3 hours long so obviously for the hollywood one they took a lot out. I've never heard of The Fountain, if its like Solaris I will check it out.
