i had acne since 2nd yr high school, now that im in college, i still have acne. I been using a lot of product just to get rid of ance, benzoyl peroxide (panoxyl), cleanser, acne gel, etch. I could say that this product help me lessen or remove acne. But my real problem is the SCAR. i have scar on my cheek my pores are kinda big. And my face is oily. I tried diamond peel once, i did not see any improvement, because i should have 12 treatments more. Which is expensive. I hope you can give me a great way to get rid or to lessen the ACNE SCAR, or any home remedy. Is applying garlic effective? is calamansi effective? Pls. Help me.. ^^

Acne scar treatment according to Malay traditional medicine or ‘petua Melayu’: This is malay way for acne scar treatment (in malay we say petua menghilangkan parut jerawat): 1. Take five fresh red grapes and remove their seeds. Add half glass of fresh milk and blend them together. Take the ‘red grapes plus milk’ every morning at best or thrice a week. Do this regularly and enjoy its results. 2. Take right size tapioca. Peel the skin, clean, grate, and squeeze the juice. Apply the juice to the acne scar area. Do this everyday for a week. 3. Grind right amount of cinnamon stick until it becomes fine powder. Add some water and apply them in the acne scar area. A week is the time to see the much awaited results. 4. Use pestle and mortar to crush 10 young Indian pennywort leaves. Paste the crushed leaves on the scar area. Wait until it dries and clean. Hopefully these alternative acne scar treatments will do wonders to you. Good luck!

I agree with xcarax. I've tried home made remedies before, but they only ended up making my acne problem a lot worse. Like you, I have pores that are easily noticeable, talk about craters. =) I only have oily skin, which seemed to aggravate when I tried squeezing calamansi directly on my face. Experimenting with over the counter products didn't do much to lessen the severity of my acne as well. I strongly suggest consulting a highly recommended dermatologist in your area, it'll be a wiser investment. Having a good derma makes wonders with your skin. With my current one, it seems like a couple more diamond peel sessions and my face will look like it had no traces of even having acne problem before. Hope your face will be clear again!
