teens and sexuality

Do you think hiding sexuality from your child makes them more promiscuous as a teen?

Hi laisydaisy, Yes, I don't believe we should hide sexuality from a child, as it might will cause problems later. There is nothing wrong with being honest with a child and answering their questions as they arise. Blessings.

I think there could be some truth in this, as if something is hidden, it becomes something taboo that can be rebelled against. Also, think it is fair to say that lack of information is a dangerous thing.

I think it takes away from the choices they can make. With knowledge comes power and when one is mature enough to know what is being conveyed to them, that is most definately the time to sit down and talk with them. Great question! Zelo
