Is there any GENUINE way of making money from the web?

Hi guys,
first post here, so I'm probably repeating previously asked questions...apologies.
I have been doing PTC for a few months not and still have not made any cash....or at least anything close to the minimum payout. So,it got me wondering, how am I going to make some extra cash???? haha, we all want to do that actually.
I would appreciate some links from you guys if you know of ANYTHING I can do to generate some extra cash.
I actually signed up for some freelancng work websites (PM me if you want a referral link^^) If you have any skills, for example proofreading or copywriting, or if you're into computers and IT, you would do well from these sites. Again, I'm not gonna post the links here, just PM me if you are interested in joining one of these totally legitimate sites. (I'm not the owner, but I can refer you and I will make some $$ from your referral. I'm genuine, not an internet marketer...don't worry, I won't spam you)
Anyway, to wrap this post up, if you guys know of anything, please comment or send me a PM.

That is funny that you mentioned that because I have been getting emails from that same person! I have awesome sites on my blog the link is in my profile, i suggest doing survey websites also because it is easy and i've made 60.00 on one site and 39.00 from another and there are more sites, my website has some proof of the checks, if you want links for the survey sites just pm me, can you please send me your referrals please, thanks!

Rachel Long? haha, I just lost 3 bucks to that one.......signed up for some Cut n Paste scam, only to get some pdf fle for 3 $ that told me nothing, only to pay more to get the 'secret'
what a hll of a scam she has running....
now I belive she is a 6 figure earner....from mugs like me

Hi stewmoo, if you are interested in writing to earn some money, here's a site you might want to try. Reviewstream.com You can review anything, places you shop, products you own, websites, vacation places, restaurants, even your friends and neighbors! They pay $2.00 per review that is accepted. When you have $50 in your account, they will pay by Paypal. They just ask that the reviews are personal to you and you can't copy and paste from another site (even your own website). They want original work. You don't have to pay a penny to be part of this site. Go to the site and read some of the reviews that are already done (most are not very long, just a couple of paragraphs) and you can see if it is right for you. Good Luck.
I had to chuckle when I saw your comment about Rachel Long. I get emails from her all the time. She is one of the "gurus" that has a list ten miles long. It is true on the internet that the money is in the list. One of the programs she told me about a couple of months ago, I joined. Well, I couldn't get any referrals to save my life, but her name was on the top of the list for referrals. I calculated that she earned over $12,000 in commissions in that month alone!! (and she is a young woman I think in her 30's) I'm jealous and impressed!! LOL. The next week she was sending me emails about more programs, so I'm sure that she is a six figure earner. If we all had her LIST, we would be rich too!
