I just got back from a vacation in Mazatlan. I just loved it. The people are great, the beaches are beautiful, lots of great clubs, fantastic restaurants and some of the finest looking women I've seen in the world (sorry girls, I didn't check out the guys - but where there are hot chicks, there must be sizzling men). I love the food in Mazatlan, it's different than Cancun or Acapulco.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Or does anyone have a different point of view?

I have been to Mexico and loved spending time on the palm fringed beaches, looking at the Mayan ruins and meeting the friendly people. I think that the weather was perfect with its hot, dry and sunny days. The bus system was very good. I am learning Spanish at the moment and this I would love to go to Mexico again one day. I stayed in a little beach hut with a thatched roof and a sand floor. At night I could hear the waves crashing against the shore and I could feel a lovely soft breeze. Walking along the beach was the thing I liked to do most. Next I went on a bus to Belize and that was a superb trip that I really enjoyed.

I'm glad you enjoyed Mexico. It sounds like you were in Cancun or somewhere in that region, right? Reason I say that is because of the Mayan ruins you mentioned.
Well, I just sent you a friend request. I speak spanish... so I could be of help to you in learning spanish. Hasta luego. Adios!

I love Mexico. Every time I get a chance to go there I do. I like Isla Mujeres the best. I've never been to Mazatlan. I used to be married to a man who was from Mexico so, we went all over the place visiting his relatives one year. We went to north and south Mexico. We only went to Isla Mujeres for a day trip to go snorkling. I loved it so much that now, every time I book a trip, I just go straight to Isla Mujeres and never leave!
