allergies or infection?

i've recently been having some sinus problems. i have lots of pressure and bad headaches. i know its starting to become allergie season. . . so i was wondering how to tell the difference between sinus infect or just plain allergies?

This is a terrible time for allergies. A sinus infection does not get better, even with OTC medications. If it's been more than a week and nothing is helping with the pain and you have some serious gross looking discharge, I'd cast my vote for seeing a doctor. I have had some really bad infections without running a fever. If it's not a sinus infection and you haven't seen a doctor for allergies, maybe now would be a good time to go see one. OTC allergy meds sometimes help. Saline nasal spray really helps if you make the effort to use it at least 3 times a day.

i have another infection in a different part of my body for acouple weeks now, but i have no fever also. i do have a nasal spray, im going to start using that now. thanks!
