Nosey, Jealous, or Just Judgemental??

Did I catch anybody's attention??? I hope so because this has been bothering me for so long. WHY is it that everyone is so worried about what other people do?? Why is it that everyone needs to fall into some category or that we must all think/feel the same way about a subject? Why do people who stray from the norm catch so much attention??
Usually I can give my little guess on what I think about a certain topic or question but this one really gets me. I just don't understand it.
I don't expect anyone and esp not everyone to see things the same way I do. I respect the fact that all people are different and think different. But I continuously run into people still think that there is only one right and wrong.

I think people are worried about what others do because they always have themselves in mind. For example, when people are worried that their s.o. might cheat on them, they really have themselves in mind, they don't want their heart to be broken.
We worry about what other people do for selfish reasons, we don't want to be "out of the loop", and we don't want to be burned, its as simple as that!
