I cheat..I use a Turkey Bag where you don't have to baste. Pop it in put one of those little pop up things to let you know your Turkey is done and when the little red thing pops up open the bag and you have a very moist Juicy turkey fall off the bones. No hard work.(you can save that energy for when your mother-in-law starts tellng you how to do things best). Just kidding.it gives you time to prepare your potatos and dressing and greenbean salad. I use the bag also and I love it.. I usally cook my dressing in it also, it's very moist then. We also bought a turkey frier one year and that was pretty good.. my mother in law uses a roaster and slow roasts the turkey all night and that is also very good and easy
