One of my pet peeves in life has to be redundancy. I just hate it when people or things are repetitive and redundant, therefore eventually make themselves useless and obsolete. I think you understand and get the picture...am I right and correct? I have noticed that on myLot there is a section for messages and friends. Correct me if I am wrong but most of us only message and want to receive messages from our friends...isn't that why most of us have and possess and use MSN and Yahoo and e-mail? Another thing I noticed and saw on myLot is that we have a section for blogs. I have to tell you and point out that I not only write on myLot what are my thoughts and experiences, but I find that if I blog as well I am usually repeating my posts and entries. When I use my creative energy on myLot I don't have anything left which is new and original for blogging. Does anyone else agree with me and concur that blogs on myLot are repetitive and redundant to the purpose of the site? Just a thought. You probably think I am crazy and insane. That, of course, makes you totally correct and right.

I understand what you are saying, but don't know how to begin to respond. I sometimes need the redundancy to remember and keep up with things.

For sure, like me as I am beginning to get older, I tend to make things repetitious anyway to help me remember. I agree with you there.

The sad thing is that I am only 27 and there are people that are older than me and can still remember more than me. My memory is like that of an 80 year old.

To be able to send or receive messages on myLot you have to be on the users friends list so you can only receive messages from friends so....does that not make your statement redundant!! LOL. For your second point blogging I do not read or write blogs as I find them totally boring. I could care less about someone's page long, thoughts or experience on something I find trivial and they think it is the world's most earth shattering news flash!

When I think about the origins of blogging, I can only picture Doogie Howser on his little home computer writing his journal. Like my husband says, do you really want to make your diary available to 700 million people? LMAO.
