All About Indonesia

I like Indonesia having been there on my way around the world. I took boats and a buses over to the island of Sumatra. It was so exciting to have such rough journey over there from Singapore. I got to the port and was surrounded by lots of local people and many of them were trying to touch my backpack. A Danish couple were also traveling. They were going overland to Java and I was going to Sumatra. I had to stay the night in a place the had motor cycles but apart from this it was like going back a century. It was a long trip to next day to Bukittinggi. I stayed in a hotel and on the wall of my room I saw a message saying "don't sleep here. This bed has bed bugs and flees. Check out now" so this made me scared. It was too late to move so I simply changed rooms. In the night something was running over the floor. Was it mice or rats? The next day I found a nicer place to stay. I liked the architecture and the pretty streets. Many local men tried to get talking to me and a few proposed! Next I went to beautiful lake Toba and then on to see the wild orangutans. I felt quite safe. Although due to the side affects I stopped taking my anti malaria pills. I think the local men are keen to talk to single foreign females. It was a cheap place to travel and there was lots to see. I would like to go back to see more of the beautiful scenery and do some island hopping.

I think the beauty of Indonesia, will defeating the dangerous. lol. Just like looking for black orchid in the papua island, it is dangerous but that is exacly the attraction and the main interest of Indonesia.
