most people understand the concept of deja vu, a term from the french meaning already seen, to be the psychological situation where you feel you have seen or done whatever you are doing before yet you couldn't possible have. For example, I am sitting down having a conversation with someone and I feel like I have already had the conversation yet it is the first time I am talking to this person. Some people feel they have visited a place before when they haven't ever visited that place. some say we have done those things already in our dreams or astral travels and that is why we feel like we have already done them before when in the waking state we never did. do you agree with these theories, do you have any theories of your own and do you have an experience where you felt deja vu

Yes, I can say that this has definately happened to me, more than on one occassion. One particular one that sticks out with me is, my Grandmother (Nonny) had asked me to go picking berries with her, she had asked me the day before we were to go picking berries (Salmon Berries), anyway, as we started out into the bush, we got onto the trail, and as we started talking, I got chills up my spine, because, I had either dreamt the situation the night before, or felt that we had done this before. It was so strange not scarry, everything that we had said to one another and when we got separated we would yoo hoo to one another, in the event that there were bears around, or if one had fallen.

I know it is weird when you think you had the exact same conversation before and you know you really didn't

Yes, I have had it a lot. I went to see my neurologist a couple months ago and he said because I have symptoms of eplipsy, I am more prone to having deja vu. Well, when he told me this I said, then does this mean that everyone who has deja vu has epilispy? Deja Vu affects the fronal lobe of the brain I it is a type of epilisy in a way. It is like our brains are replaying something that may or may not have occured. Very weird our brains are.

Deja vu is a strange feeling, and yet I love having them. These feelings really intrigue me. Sometimes, I'd be doing something, and all of a sudden, I feel as if I'm in a dream or that I'm not really there. Does that count as deja vu? So I wonder why do we sometimes experience deja vu? Could it be that we did do some things before? Perhaps in a past life? Perhaps in a dream, or maybe something something in the past? And our minds try to dig them up? What may the answers, I guess we'll never know. So in the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy this phenomenom.

Yeah. It leads to rather awkward situations for me. "Wait, didn't we have this conversation before at this place..?" Haha. It's weird but when it happens, people just ignore it and tell me that I should stop making things up.

Yes, I had deja vu few times already. Something that just crossed my mind. That I've been in certain place with the same situation, people and happenings already. Just like a repeat of a past.

Yes I definitly have experienced this mind boggling deja vu. Sometimes it happens quite often and when and whereever it happens depending if I'm with someone at that moment I'll tell the person it happened and they look at me funny.. not sure why I wonder if they've experienced it? I've been told by a child psycologist that when deja vu happens, it's usually a smell or memory that triggers this. I should've asked for more detail.. but didn't

You hit me hard winterrose, many a times I have this feeling as to I have been in that situation before or I have talked or the opponent have talked those before. I have had this kind right from my childhood days. When I discussed about with some people, they just brushed me off, so stopped discussing about it. But I am still experiencing it. I dont know why this is happening. But I felt and thought that it is a forewarning in adverse situations. Infact in adverse situations I have felt how to react and act and have been saved from embarresment and humiliation.

I have this usually. Sometimes I saw one person that i've never seen, but i know that i remember the person that anyone place, but i dont know where, is so strange. Sometimes I saw one scene, and i'm certainlly that i saw this happening before. People say that when you have a deja vu you have to do a wish, because its the time that your guard angel are near to you. Other people say that is because this happened with you in other life and you certainlly know that it happened before because it REALLY happened before. But i dont know in what I believe haha:/
