Since twas a book convertd to tv series the show was scattered with really good dialogues....
Dexter's musing about Doakes:
"The only real question is why in a building full of cops, all supposedly with a keen insight to the human soul, is Doakes the only one who gets the creep from me."

That is such a good quote. I kind of like the impecations about Doakes made in that line. Another one of my favourites is "She's the only person in the world who loves me. I think that's nice. I don't have feelings about anything, but if I could have feelings at all, I'd have them for Deb."
I can't wait till season three starts. The anticipation is going to kill me ;-)

I love Dexter's voice, it's totally sexy. There is just something about it that says "I'm going to kidnap you while your sleeping and chop you up into little bits and your going to love it". I'm such a weirdo :-P

Deb likes to keep the orange juice out and slam doors so Dexter says to himself "I will not kill my sister, I will not kill my sister". I thought it was funny and then a little creepy.

I even had a dream (march 4), Dexter was in a room with Deb and someone else. He said something and couldn't let Deb and the person live. She was confused by this. So Deb knows what he is and she's pissed off of course and he gets ready to kill her. I didn't see him kill her probably because I woke up. That's a pretty weird dream to have!

at first, i thought so that this is dexter's lab in a not cartoon character and the other reason why i was adamant to watch it when i first saw the season 1 dvd's. days later when i have nothing to do, i grab one disc and watch it then, the rest is history, i was soooooooo hooked up already and cannot wait for 28 september to ome by faster.

I loved it when he said "If I had a heart, it would be breaking right now." I think he was hugging Rita or something like that.
